For this project I was tasked with designing a charming bear-shaped ginger root whose name playfully merges the German words Ingwer (ginger) and Bär (bear). Designed to embody the warmth, vitality, and natural origins of SONNENTOR’s organic tea and spice products, Ingbär becomes the friendly face of a new illustrated product world.

The visual identity centers on a cute, approachable character style with simple, rounded shapes and analog-inspired textures that evoke craft, naturalness, and hand-touched authenticity. Soft grain, subtle brush textures, and warm color palettes reinforce the organic roots of the brand while keeping the aesthetic lighthearted and contemporary.

Each illustration places Ingbär in a playful scenario that reflects the unique qualities or effects of the corresponding product. These vignettes are whimsical yet meaningful, communicating benefits through character-driven storytelling.
